Formed in 1975, the Romney Volunteer Rescue Squad continues to provide emergency
medical services for the greater Romney area of Hampshire County, West Virginia.
The all volunteer membership prides itself on the quality care that has been given to the
citizens of Romney over the years.
Romney Vol. Rescue Squad is headed up by Chief Donnie Smith and has over 30
dedicated members that respond at a moment's notice to assist their fellow citizens.
If you are interested in seeking membership, please do not hesitate to contact us. We
will provide all training necessary. If you don't think working on the ambulance is for you,
we have plenty of other volunteer opportunities within our organization.
